 Anti-Hamas protests in Gaza, pressure for ceasefire grows

Pressure is mounting on Hamas in war-torn Gaza. This time, Palestinians themselves have taken to the streets against the independence-seeking organization. Hundreds of Palestinians have taken part in the protests.

Gaza has been gripped by renewed Israeli attacks since March 18. Israeli missiles have been hitting northern Gaza one after another, especially in the north. The death toll is rising by leaps and bounds. Gazans are gasping for breath in the conflict between Israel and Hamas. Their own homes have also been destroyed. 2.1 million people have been displaced. This is the first time protests have been seen against Hamas since the war began in 2023.


Meanwhile, 38 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks in the past 24 hours. In addition, nearly 150,000 Palestinians

have been newly displaced since March 18.

Several images of anti-Hamas protests circulated on social media on Tuesday night. Although the authenticity of the video could not be verified, it was seen that most of the protesters were men. They were holding banners along with slogans. It read, "Stop the war, we want peace."


They also spoke against Hamas. They also asked Hamas to leave. Meanwhile, Hamas dispersed the protest on the streets of Beit Lahia. They were seen attacking the protesters with black cloths covering their faces. Many were injured in the protest. Many may not know who organized the protest. However, they also want an end to this conflict for peace.
