 After Pager, Walkie Talkie Laptops Explode, Mobile Phones Not Excluded: What's Happening In Lebanon


Last Tuesday, 12 people were killed and nearly 3,000 injured in the explosion of a pager used by Hezbollah members. The pagers are believed to have been pre-loaded with a small amount of high explosives.


After thousands of pagers (wireless communication devices) detonated across Lebanon, a series of explosions hit the country on Wednesday. This time walkie-talkie, laptop, walkie-talkie radio, car exploded. At least 14 people were killed and 450 injured.


Last Tuesday, 12 people were killed and nearly 3,000 injured in the explosion of a pager used by Hezbollah members. The pagers are believed to have been pre-loaded with a small amount of high explosives.


Like Tuesday, yesterday too, devices exploded simultaneously at different places. People quickly started sharing photos of exploding cellphones, laptops, radios and various residential buildings on fire on social media.
